Zachary & Ka'ai

Hoʻomaikaʻi iā . . .

Zachary Lum and Kaʻai McAfee-Torco for being selected as the Turney Gillett Scholarship recipients for 2010. It was a pleasure watching you both grow throughout your highschool careers and we were very pleased to see you rewarded for all your hard work! Congratulations again to both of you on your victories at this year's Song Contest and all the other awards you both have received during your stellar time at Kamehameha.

The Kamehameha Alumni Glee Club is very pleased to award you with scholarships named for two of our most prominent directors, Harold B. Turney and Dorothy K. Gillett. The selection committee noted that you two are "the strongest students yet to receive [the Turney-Gillett Award]," and for this we are truly proud.

Great job Zachary and Kaʻai!
